Castleton State College Hoff Hall

Construction of new dorm and facilities barn. The new dorm consists of 162 beds totaling 43,290 sf. Residential lounges, floor kitchen and balconies overlook the College’s athletic fields. 120 solar panels are on the roof which adds a modern scheme and the array is one of the largest in Vermont. The panels generate 28.8 kilowatts of capacity.

Facilities Barn: 5,500 square feet of office space and 7,000 square feet of unheated or partially heated space for equipment storage. The new facility was designed as a “maintenance barn” that would mimic the look of a Vermont barn. The building is surrounded by a fenced maintenance yard.
