BURLINGTON, VT - DEW Construction Corp. was honored by Key Bank and Vermont Business Magazine as one of Vermont's fastest growing companies for the 4th time, at an awards ceremony held on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center. Governor James Douglas, John Boutin of VBM and Scott Carpenter of Key Bank presented the awards, which was accepted by DEW CFO, Michael Francis.
The annual 5x5x5 Awards recognize the five fastest growing Vermont-based businesses over the last five years in five industrial sectors: construction, food, technology, service/retail, and manufacturing. The data is gathered from Vermont Business Magazine's Vermont 100 list of companies ranked by sales, which runs in its January issue. VBM has run such a list since 1987.
The awards ceremony, moderated by Scott Carpenter, President of Key Bank, featured a reception with all of the honorees, a presentation by 5 leading companies, and a guest speaker, Doug Hall, Founder and CEO of the Eureka! Ranch.
